Defence Community Family Day

Join us on Saturday, April 5th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Cairns Cruising Yacht Squadron (CCYS) for a Defence Community Family Day, hosted in collaboration with the Cairns Defence Community Support Group. This special event will feature Army vehicles and personnel, face painting by Amazing Faces, garden games, and delicious catering from Hook & Sail Catering. It’s a fantastic opportunity for defence personnel and the community to connect, enjoy activities, and relax by the waterfront.

After a brief break to refill your rum, the adventure continues with Lexi & Waha taking the stage from 4:30 PM, keeping the energy high as the sun dips below the horizon. Come dressed in your finest pirate gear for a chance to snag the bounty in our best dressed competition. So grab polish your peg legs, gather your crew, and join us for an unforgettable day of music, mischief, and maritime magic!
